Brooks Robinson name change: Legendary Baltimore Orioles Third Basemen, Brooks Robinson was one of my childhood heroes. I had all of his baseball cards and watched all of the games. I knew his full name as well as I knew my own. His full name was Brooks Calvert Robinson. However, I was shocked to see on a June 29, 2024, Orioles broadcast that his name had been changed. They showed a live shot of the Brooks statue at Oriole Park, with the name on the plaque as Brooks Calbert Robinson. I did an online search, and sure enough, his name is now Brooks Calbert Robinson. This has to be a Mandela Effect.
